Schalyece is licensed before the United States Tax Court and all state courts for the State of Louisiana.

Schalyece earned her undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans. After completing her undergraduate studies, she obtained her JD from Southern University Law Center and her LL. Taxation from Golden Gate University Law School.

Schalyece is a tax attorney with some unique experiences. She has worked both in the public and private sectors throughout her career which has afforded her great opportunities. In 2001, Schalyece began her career with the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration. She left the DOL in 2006 to join Deloitte and Touche, LLP tax department. After leaving Deloitte in 2011, Schalyece opened her own law practice.

Schalyece was born and raised in New Orleans and has been an attorney for over 20 years. Schalyece specializes in estate and trust, wills and probate, special needs trust, power of attorneys, real estate, and tax resolution matters.
